It has been awhile since I’ve posted anything about The Crew. It has even been quite awhile since I’ve played the game. Not really because I’m bored with it, but between my job and the other games I have, it has been hard to find time to play it. Well now The Crew is getting its first major expansion and it is titled Wild Run.

According to Ubisoft, the game will now feature motorcycles as well as different weather conditions both of which were absent from the main game. There will also be other new vehicles, challenges, upgraded graphics, and a recurring championship called The Summit.

A closed beta of Wild Run for the PC will be happening from October 15-19. It is said that those who participated in the beta for the original game will automatically be included in this beta. As much as I would like to try it out on the PC, my graphics card unfortunately is not up to snuff. I will definitely be getting the expansion for the PS4 though when it is officially released on November 17th.

In the meantime, check out the official trailer for Wild Run. It looks like it will add to The Crew quite a bit and I certainly look forward to it especially the weather effects and how it can change the dynamics of the game.
