The Crew PS4 release date was originally on November 11th, but it has now been pushed back to December 2nd. The reason for this according to the game’s developers at The Crew’s official site is that they want to have extra time for a second closed console beta which is something the community at their site has been requesting. Plus they want more feedback to better enhance the experience of the game.
I don’t blame them for doing this because a lot of people were upset that they didn’t get accepted to participate in the last console beta for pre-ordering the game from Gamestop, which on the receipt there was a code you could enter that said you were guaranteed a spot in the upcoming console beta. I had preordered the game for that reason, but I was not able to take part in it and unfortunately, no pictures or videos or a chance to talk about my experience with the beta on my PS4. Here’s to hoping I get to participate in the next one.
Also some other ‘The Crew’ news that is mentioned on their website, they will be doing a 2014 college tailgate tour at different college football games across the country. There will be trucks with gaming stations that will be at the stadiums before the football games starts giving football fans a chance to play the game. They will also have chances to win prizes such as game systems, videogames and more. A list of the college games they will be at across the country is listed here. Sadly, they won’t be coming to any of the college campuses in Kansas. The nearest one to me will be in Forth Worth, Texas. Feel free to post your thoughts on this.
