Need For Speed Updates

Spread the love

It has been awhile since I’ve talked about the latest Need For Speed let alone talk about any new updates for it. The last major update that was released for the game had to do with challenges in regards to Eddy from the Need For Speed Underground series. That update was released back in December of last year and it has remained fairly quiet since then.

That is now all set to change this month as Gamespot has released new details of an upcoming and large update for the Need For Speed game. Some of the things that are mentioned in this update which is going to be released on March 3 are Hot Rods, Drag racing events, and manual transmissions. There are also a few other things that are coming but will be released a little later and you can read more about that here.

I don’t know about you, but I am certainly ready for new content in NFS. I have beaten all of Eddy’s challenges from the Need For Speed Legend’s update and I can tell you that they were certainly challenging! After many tries though on some of them, I had finally beaten them all and got access to Eddy’s car which is one nice ride!

Not really much else to say about this coming update other than to get it as soon as it’s released if you have the game. I am curious though to see how the hot rods handle especially now that manual transmissions will become available. It should definitely make things interesting and a challenge. Any thoughts on this new update? Is there anything else that you would like to see from the developers that would make this game even better? I certainly would like more races with some of the main characters from the original game or maybe a little bit more traffic on the streets and highways to make it somewhat more challenging.

Now that I think about it, it would be really nice to add some major updates to the cops in the game. I hate to say it, but they are fairly pathetic in this game and are pretty easy to get away from. They need to have them like they were in the Need For Speed Rivals game a few years ago which made it really fun and sometimes hard to escape their wrath. Has anyone gotten all the trophies in the game or explored every single road in the large map? If anyone has the game I would like to see how some of your cars look especially after using the extensive garage and editor. Some people have really nice looking cars that would be difficult to create or possibly get the money for in real life. Feel free to post comments and your thoughts on the original game. As more news is released about Need For Speed or any other open world games, you can bet I will certainly post them here so always check back!
